Layout Change

The old layout is having some issues because imageshack is down or something and I don't have backup files ( lol). It was causing the board to hang, so I've changed it. I'll change it back as soon as it's fixed.

Using Safari?

If you're on a Mac and using Safari, you'll need to change your settings to reply to messages.

To change your settings, go to Account (on the top left) then Preferences (under Settings on the bottom left) and then for Editor Type, try BBCode.

This should allow you to make new topics and add replies. If you're still having problems, please post here or message me.

BB UPDATE 2/12/08

As you've probably noticed, Yuku has started placing ads on the board. Yuku has moved out of beta and is now charging to remove ads. We are WAY over their general limits and have to pay to remove ads on a per ad view basis, which means it'd be well over $700 to make the board ad-free.

Now, like on ezboard, you have the option of buying Yuku Supporter to remove the ads. It's $7 for 6 months and $12 for one year. You can find information about Yuku Supporter here:...

Every now and then, we have a member who, for whatever reason, decides they need multiple personalities and spams the board. Or, we ban them, so they create a new account. Pretty quickly, we figure it out and make the necessary steps to eliminate them completely from our fan pool.

Board Time

The board time was changed to coincide with Daylight Savings Time. If the board time still looks wrong, you have to change your personal time preferences. To do that, go to Navigation, then under Account (on the left) click Settings, then Time Zone, and then whatever time zone you live in.

You also have the option of adjusting all board times to your personal time zone, which is quite convenient, in my opinion. Just check that box if you want to do that.

They're working on fixing the double post bug here on Yuku. Now, those of you who notice that it's happening a lot to you, can you please post what browser you are using to access the board, please? Is it Internet Explorer? Firefox? AOL? Opera? etc. If you know what version it is, that would also be helpful.

To add an event, just click "Add Event" right under the search box. You don't need to put anything in the message box. Just put something in the title box.

Then, on your birthday, it'll list it at the bottom of the board, in the Community Stats box.
