Guess P. Diddy's a hit man after all.

Just last week, he was accused of being one of those behind the shooting of Tupac Shakur outside a New York City studio.

Now, the executive formerly known as Sean Combs and Puff Daddy has another kind of smash on his hands in Making the Band alums Danity Kane, who debut at #1 on the HITS Album Sales chart with the Bad Boy/Atlantic disc, Welcome to the Dollhouse.

The album scores 253k in first-week sales, second-highest of the year behind only Jack Johnson's Brushfire/Universal Republic album Sleep Through the Static, which debuted with 380k back in February and remains at #5.

Hitting the streets on Tuesday are current Making the Band winner, Bad Boy/Atlantic's Day 26

, Decaydance/Fueled by Ramen's Panic at the Disco (which has lost its exclamation point and found its ELO influences), Geffen's Counting Crows, MySpace's Pennywise and Astralwerks' B-52s comeback.

I got the cd, but their performances of Damaged have been pretty poor. For winning a singing show, they can't really sing that well live. Aubrey always sounds really messy

The girls were in my hometown on Tuesday and they visited w/ a couple DJ's...you guys have to watch this video of them playing American Idol (Xbox) with the hosts...it's hilarious. They play towards the end of the vid...

LoL...watch Aubrey's attitude (she says nothing but a couple sentences in the whole interview). In her defense..the host was an ASS the last time they were here. He called her "man face."

Anyway..I'm used to their crap talkin...that's what they're famous for.

DANITY KANE TOPS POP CHART! - March 26, 2008

"WELCOME TO THE DOLLHOUSE," the new album from Danity Kane, has made an explosive arrival atop the SoundScan/Billboard 200 album chart. This marks the group's second consecutive number 1 chart entry and gives them the distinction of being the first female group in Billboard chart history to have both their debut and sophomore albums enter the main album chart at number 1.

With sales of 236,000, the superstar girl group's sophomore release surpasses the first week sales of their debut album. It also marks the biggest first week from a female pop or R&B group since Destiny's Child in 2001. In addition, the album is 2008's second biggest-selling debut thus far, as well as the year's top debut from a female artist.

Another highlight of the week was Danity Kane's live performance of "Damaged" on the season finale of MTV's Making The Band. The broadcast also included the official unveiling of "P. Diddy Presents The Making The Band 4 Tour," a major North American concert tour to be headlined by Danity Kane, and featuring their MTB4 co-stars Day26 and Donnie Klang. *I'm soooo there!!*

). He annoys me with his attitude and esp. with his new catch phrase- wont repeat it.

whether you like him or not you can't deny the fact that he's had a hand or has whole-handedly propelled the careers of extremely successful artists...OUR JEN included! his business sense is nothing short of genius....two chart topping releases in two weeks...hit the man to the floor..he gets back up 10x stronger every time.
