jlo4ever, if it was all going so well, those relationships would not have ended. No one has said you can't have a negative opinion. People are constantly
saying she doesn't promote. Those of us who feel that doesn't have to be her #1 priority will obviously dispute that.
I don't think Jennifer owes us anything. She is still working, making music, movies, TOURING. We are here because we choose to be. |

When it comes down to it, it's Jen's choice to promote where and when. Sometimes its best to do what Marc does and thats let the music or the movie or
the clothes speak for itself. We would all love to see Jen 24/7 if we could but we have to remember Jen is a human being and just like us she can only be at
one place at a time. Its really up to the fans and the people who like the songs to vote for it on TRL or BET or Vh1 and get it to the top spot on the
billboard charts. But blaming Marc for Jen's decisions on promoting is not fair to him or Jen.

What I'm saying is that Jennifer used to be a great business woman and we could always expect high quality stuff from her. What happened to Jennifer Lopez
who had #1 song and movie in the same week? Now all we got is a half-assed done video, decent 1st single, no promo and movies that aren't widely released.
If Jennifer is tired of the lime light, then she should take a longer break and come back with a smash record/movie. |

It was a movie Jen really wanted to make, she was passionate about it just like she is with DIW and Brave. The only reason El Cantante wasn't more widely released is because it wasn't financed by a major studio like Miramax or Paramount. It was basically an independent movie which never gets widely produced. As for DIW she doesn't have to promote it right away she can take her time. She's promoting little by little (Fashion Rocks and the secret performance). Even when the album is released she can still promote her first and second singles. Get Right helps me make my point. Jen never really promoted Get Right except a making the video of. But Get Right continues to be a hit. |

She's doing the best work in music and movie of her carrer right now, yeah it's not has popular has the JLO days but it's way better, i love all her albums but many of the songs pre-CAUM Sounds like duets, overuse of backupsinger, it show in her recent work that she got better and that she can carry a song by herself and if it's not has succefull as it used to be so what ?

i think jennifer is at a state in her life right now that she's already had her success and she's already been a hit around the world. she's
decided to do WHAT SHE WANTS TO DO, whether its a hit or not. She's finally an artist who can do what she wants and not have to worry about her project
being #1. Jen knows that right now she could make a song with timbaland and justin timberlake and it will go straight to #1... but she chooses not to. For her
spanish album she knew that she could do a reggaeton duet with Shakira and it would blow up. I like that Jen is following her heart and doing exactly what she
wants. Who cares if it's #1? If she likes it and her fans like it, it doesn't really matter. Even if her fans don't like it...at least she is
expressing herself they way she choses. She doesn't have to prove that she can be successful. She ALREADY is and will always be. She doesn't have to be
on top of the charts for people to recognize that.
Don't get me wrong i would like it to go to #1 but if it doesn't its not the end of the world. Jennifer is finally touring and doing enough to please her fans. Jen has movies, producing projects, her english albums, spanish album, tour, clothing line, perfumes, restaurant, and marriage to worry about as well. How much more do you guys want? She's not superwoman. You guys expect wayyy too much. Maybe if Jen was a Nelly Furtado or a Fergie you guys would be happy. Those artists have time to promote their music non-stop because that's the ONLY thing they do. Jen is multi-talented and a 92947628942x threat artist. I'd rather her be that than only do 1 thing. That's what marks her place in entertainment history.

What Heather said, Jen is going to start her first tour, we get a new cd, she is going to film a new movie soon, I'm really glad she is doing all those
things, offcourse we want that Jen's album is gonna be a huge succes, but Jen has a life too, don't forget that, she is going to start her first tour,
thats gonna be hard, she can't go to every talkshow or every award show. In the past it was different, but she has grown as an artist, happily married,
things change. I'm really glad with everything Jen is giving us
