Just because Madonna waited 15 years doesn't mean that it takes 15 years to get a Grammy. Beyonce,Mariah Carey,Alicia Keys always get a nomination every
year,and win. (without waiting 15 years)

To be honest, there's always something "wrong" with Jen's songs (it doesn't make them bad) that minimize her chances to be
nominated
for example, "Get Right" and "Play" are excellent dance records that could have been nominated in the Best Dance Recording category, but
what may turn people off is:
for Get Right: over use of the Horn sample (James Brown's "Soul Power") the song is basically: a beat+ the horn sample+cheesy lyrics
for Play, that song is one of her best dance songs ever IMO... But she relied way too much on Christina Milian (we hear her voice more than Jen's in the
song)
i could go on and on... Its just minimal facts that make the song not award-worthy
IMO Que Hiciste should have grabbed a nod in the Vocal categories (her vocals are flawless on it, hands down), but then again it's spanish so i guess
it's impossible?
"Waiting for tonight" and "Let's Get Loud" really deserved their nominations, they are easily some of Jen's best songs EVER... Once
Jen comes with the PERFECT song again, it will have more chance to win a Grammy (especially in the dance categories, she always had good tunes: Walking on
sunshine for example: no sample, sexy vocals, addictive chorus,... it should have been eligible to be nominated)

and people get over it, she isnt nominated this year. we cant do a damn thing about it! Jen's Grammy moment will come one day
besides the grammy arent anythin like they were 10 years ago i remeber watching in the early nineties and i mean to be nominated was major but these days it
seem the grammys have in a ways old out and nominate a certain crowd all the time so to me theyve lost credibility but it would still be great if she won. she
just needs a big hit record
For "Get Right," there was another problem. Soon after its release, the word got around that G.R's sound was from a track written by another
artist. Though the original song never made it onto his album, he reportedly was ticked off because no one asked his permission. Whoever that was (it
may have been Usher), he made it clear he expected credit and compensation. Too bad; maybe it would have received recognition otherwise. I think the
video was Grammy nominated.
U. Raymond is credited as one of the writers of 'Get Right' in the Rebirth booklet. So Usher was given credit. His only contribution to the song was
the bridge "So much we gotta say but so little time..."
The whole story of Usher being mad at Jen was made up.
