Having twin babies of her own, Jennifer Lopez is touched by
the needy children who are being treated annually by Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and thus has revealed her intention to offer some help. The
actress-singer announced Wednesday, May 14 that she's going to host and help coordinate the third Noche de Ninos benefit gala, which is set to take place
October 11 later this year at the Nokia Center.
Thanks to her twins Max and Emme, from whom Lopez gets the inspiration to get more involved in the cause. "Doing something where I was proactive ...
where I was the one pushing and making something happen, that just became very important to me," the Associated Press quoted her as saying. "I
don't know if it was because I was pregnant and thinking about children, thinking about the world. Definitely my children inspire me very much in so many
ways, even just in the past two and a half months of their little lives."
On top of hosting and helping coordinate the event, Lopez has promised to bring fellow famous musicians, including her husband Marc Anthony,
to perform. She herself will be one of the performers, which will also include the likes of Alejandro Sanz and Latin rockers Juanes and
MANA.
About her fellow singers who have willingly lent their help performing for the event, Lopez commented, "They've been very forthcoming with their
time and, in this case, their talent to make this really a one-of-a-kind concert."

Ooooooooooh maybe she'll mention us during the show. That would be so cool!
I was thinking that!
It definitely would have been nice to have been mentioned, but I know we really touched her. When our contact got the stuff, she told us Jen would love it
and thanks for our support, etc. But, then later on that day, we actually got an update about how Jen loved it, read it to the twins, and cried. And then, a
few hours later, we were told it was in their nursery with the other keepsakes. So, I know it was definitely something Jen appreciated, because otherwise, we
wouldn't have gotten such a response, you know?

Yeah! I actually believe that the whole present/donation to LA Hospital from BB also played a role in the hospital to ask Jennifer again

Jen's meeting with Obama could be concerning this Gala.
