I don't think Johnny Depp would do a romantic comedy.
its NOT a romantic comdey .thank GOD! and Keanu Reeves is a great actor!
Unfortunately it is another romantic comedy, it's Maid In Manhattan part 2. Hopefully Jen will do an action flick where she kicks a$$.
Something like Angelina's upcoming action movie would do wonders for Jen's movie career. This kind of movie may not give her an Oscar, but it
will bring her (straight) male audience back, she'll top Maxim, FHM hot girl lists, she'll grace more covers, bigger budget, bigger promo, more
lovely pictures of Jen, more appearances, more buzz, more money, a blockbuster under her belt, and more variation to her movie catalogue (which she needs).
The whole romantic thing is cute and I guess suits her mother/age image, but quite nausiating really.
What You mean Again Jens Like a Hasbeen to all that (Not sounded Crude) But come on jennifers Sex
appeal is ICONIC!
Since MM Know One has had Bigger sex Appeal then Our Girl
The guy who wrote MIM, Meet Joe Black, and Working Girl wrote the latest version of the screenplay. His name is Kevin Wade.
Here's some other info:
Project Genres: Action, Comedy
Synopsis: A woman falls in love with a con artist who asks her to pose as a governess for the wealthy family he intends on robbing.
It doesn't really gel with the previous info, so I'm not sure what's right and what's wrong.
Edit: I'm also not sure if Jen is actually making this movie. She was listed as having been previously attached to
the movie, not currently attached.
'One of the great joys in life is doing things people say you cannot do'
Yeah Heather than second synopsis sounds better.
It would be funny if Jen actually did the Governess whcih we know nothing about rather than L&OIP which we have been specualting about forever.
^ if she only does one of them i hope it will be L&OIP, you never know how a movie gonna turn out but right now i love the book, the director and the cast
so i'll be really disappointed if it isn't get made.
^me too, I will really regret if she doesnt film LAOIP, it is really good movie, I love the book. Governess is too old, we can talk about that forever, LAOIP
is new and it has a really good story
i'll be more than glad if she never ever do another rom-com, it's killing me that she's wasting her talent in them and she has never been good in
any of them Jen is a great dramatic actress but doesn't have any comedic timing it was fun she did a couple of them but it's starting to be too much
she's an A-lister but she doesn't work with important director in interesting project anymore it's just Sad
Guys, seriously, I don't understand how you can all say that Jen spends too much time on them. She has NOT DONE THAT MANY!!! Jen has only really done FOUR
which shes been the star of (thats not counting Jersey Girl coz thats not really HER movie, and Gigli becuase that is debatable as a romcom). MIM, TWP, SWD and
MIL.
Thats FOUR films out of the dozens she has been in over the past 20 years.
And, yeah, I agree that she hasn't done a lot of them. They're her most successful films. Plus, there are smart romantic comedies. Just because
it's called a romantic comedy doesn't mean it's crappy.
I wonder if big name directors have their reservations about working with her. They must. All that negative press and diva crap has to scare them off. I also
wonder what kinds of movie scripts she gets these days.

yeah they're probably afraid that people will focus more on her than the movie itself and i can inderstand that. Jen said when she though that she
should see big name directors instead of what she was being offered after her music carrer got big, they didn't even consider her.
It's like for the movie whe wanted to do with the director of "Ray", "Carmen" with a script by Craig Pearce, even with big names on
board they didn't found any studio who would invest $50M, the director said that the studios thought that her audiance don't want to see her in this
kind of roles "dramatic roles who die at the end" which is stupid.
So i think from studios she mostly get offerd Rom-Coms.
