I mean, I was planning on fixing my car this month with the rebate check we're receiving but now I'm thinking I shouldn't because I think gas will reach 5 bucks a gallon by the end of the year and that is way toooo much.

I take the subway mostly...but my driving habits haven't changed. When I'm at home, my parents pay for the gas in their cars which I drive, and I only use my the cars in my new place every so often, so I don't pay for the gas in those either.

As for my driving, dont have a car lol. Havnt even got my L's yet (which i should have gone for last year -.-) So doesnt affect me but it sure does affect my parents though

Roundtrip is a full tank of gas for me, so the most I'll drive home now is about twice a month. Right now, my boyfriend is living in New Orleans (I can't wait till he's back home) which is about 54 miles from my original location. It's been hard, we've been doing video chats lately. The only driving that I mostly do now is to work. I ride my bike to class, I wish I could ride my bike to work too. i remember when my sister got her first car she could fill up with less than 15 dollars. I remember those days! Ahh...memory lane. When I first got my car, it would take 20 dollars to fill my car up.

I went with my dad to fill up his car this morning, it was $1.36 Canadian per litre...he usually spends about $60 to fill up his car. I don't have a car, but I don't think my parents worry about gas prices - my dad HAS to drive for work, and my mom only drives around the city so she can get around on a full tank for like 2 weeks, lol. So I guess it evens out somehow.
