Add this stat to the list of disparities between the Republican and Democratic parties: according to a list compiled by a major bipartisan lobbying firm, Democratic and left-leaning entities have scheduled three times as many parties and receptions as their conservative and Republican leaning-counterparts.

The information was obtained by the Sunlight Foundation's Party Time project, which tracks corporate and interest group sponsorship of convention activities.

The Foundation has parked the Democratic party list at http://tinyurl.com/6pm4lo and the Republican event list at http://tinyurl.com/6ew8rf.

The DNC list is 16 pages long; the RNC list runs only five pages.

Many of the events are organized by the DNC itself, but dozens have corporate or organizational sponsors, including a "VIP Dinner" at Tambien hosted by Eli Lilly, a festival honoring Blue Dog Democrats sponsored by AT&T and Genworth, a "Friends of New Orleans All-Star Jam-Balaya" sponsored by US Telecom -- all on Sunday, August 24.

The Creative Coalition is sponsoring several events, including a luncheon co-hosted by the National Association of Realtors. Same with the Recording Industry Association of America: Kanye West is scheduled to perform at a RIAA event, and Jennifer Lopez and the Black Eyed Peas are also slated to appear at events.

Conflict of interest note: National Journal and General Motors are hosting a party for RNC convention CEO Maria Cino.

Big Head Todd and Bobby Yang are featured performers at a "Magnum Entertainment" event on Sunday, August 31 in Minneapolis. Other RNC corporate events include a Republican Main Street Partnership luncheon hosted by AT&T, a reception for Bank of America's environmental sustainability efforts, a reception at Solera Restaurant hosted by the Distilled Spirits Council and the Hill newspaper, and a foreign policy forum hosted by Daimier. On Tuesday, August 2, Haley Barbour hosts the Mississippi delegation at an event hosted by several major trade associations.

According to the draft schedule, the Creative Coalition gala at the Republican National Convention features celebs like Quentin Tarantino, Spike Lee (really?), Susan Sarandon (really?) Cheryl Hines (really?) and other liberals.
