well i loving 'what is love?' and 'One love' i think it's a good direction but i don't like stuff
like HOY.
i'd like some dance song but yeah more like waiting for tonight or walking on sushine with a more now sound. And for the lyrics some songs that are not about love or guys would be nice too. 
Bu i'd rather have an other Spanish album.

I really like the new songs, I love the WIL Chorus, and the personal touch on One Love
but to be honest, they are songs that could fit on her past couple of albums easily, and if she wants to get a hit again she's gonna need to do something that stands out and is a little out of her ordinary zone |

i'm really over this love songs,
' i love you,you love me,we're in love' thats all. nothing new. 'Whats love,i need love,i'm in love' okaaaaaay we've heard it before its time for new stuff. Its time to be brave lol so Jen should try something new,take a risk. She's never suprised me in music. I know you guys say all her albums are different,but actually,they're all same lol. I want her to have 'electronica' sound.(unlike electronic dance music,this one is not specificially made for dancing) or if she'll do what she does best (pop/r&b) she should write her own lyrics and she should work with good producers like Max Martin,Timbaland,Pharrell Williams,Rodney Jerkins or Dr. Luke. Jen can easily afford those good producers,and i'm sure good producers would love to make a hit for Jennifer (cuz of her name/popularity) but she generally works with unknown producers,and the songs end up horrible (I Need Love/The Way It Is/Gotta Be There) |

I like the What is Love song so something around that. Something that showcases her voice and isn't totally about love but I'm guessing 99% of the
songs out there are about either falling in love/breaking up/lusting for someone/loving the single life...

I like the new song "What is love" and my favourite sound is like what Jen did on "On the 6": powerful dance songs with a little bit of

I dont fully agree that this sounds like stuff that could be on any of her albums. It doesnt fit with the Brave/CAUM/OT6/JLO sound. The nearest thing she has
done to this before is Rebirth.
I feel like this sound is like the sequel to the Rebirth sound:- slick/expensive production sounding urban music. To be honest I think she should go down the urban route rather than the pop sound on Brave. It was obvious that she wasnt embraced with that sound. I still maintain that Rebirth was a very contemporary album and still 5 years later sounds like stuff people are doing now. I would probably prefer something a bit more experimental in terms of production like working with RedOne or Diplo etc. Incorporate the minimalist urban dance sound with some hispanic roots kind of exactly like that new track with shakira and wyclef jean (in terms of that sound not necessarily that song in particular). I agree that in terms of theme its stuff we have heard before. |

I really love the mature sound of WIL. It's definitely a song that would get my attention, fan or not. But I would love for her to do and possibly stick
with doing Spanish music. Her voice is so beautiful and so much stronger when singing in Spanish. Plus I think it better compiments her movie career.
Having said that though, I think she has to go with what she's happy recording because at the end of the day you have to be fullfilled with what you do.

She needs to get back to being a pop star. she's trying too hard to be "a singer" with these new songs. this might offend some of you guys but
it's true. she needs to just release the most ridiculously hot club banger, sounding like nothing we've ever heard before and get people dancing again.
she needs to be a pop star because the grammys have ruled her out anyway. id love to hear her do something that sounds like a modern waiting for tonight hex
hector remix. she needs to jump on the house/electro/urban influenced bandwagon right now because that sound suits her voice and style and she could really
nail those type of tracks. plus that's what's popular on radio now. and if she could fit some latin influences in it that would be great. that would be
a completely new sound. she needs to have a hot video too to go along with it- with an expensive budget (something that looks as expensive as her older
videos).
but this is probably asking for too much. marc has brainwashed her and is making her only choose tracks that showcase her vocal talent. those who think this isn't true: she's always delivered musically till he came along and tried to minimize her pop star image so that she could be recognized vocally. honestly who cares!!! bring sexy back! the public has never had interest in her vocal range, they just wanna dance. You don't see britney trying to sing. don't get me wrong i think jen has a great voice and has improved a hell of a lot since On the Six but that's not what attracts her audience. she needs to bring the fire. forgive the rant, i'm just ughhhh with all these leaked songs. i think they should give them back to jordan sparks or someone who can't dance. she needs to stop singing so much about love too and start singing about something that has a little attitude and self confidence (mile in these shoes and step into my world is a good example of that lyric-wise). NOOO Sampling either and she should stick to stuff that doesn't sound like it belongs on one of her past albums. I'm starting to give up on her music. I like it but not enough. The bar she's set for herself is already too high and when she doesn't reach it it's a let down. I wish she would just top the On the Six - This is me then days already.

lovin the direction she is going. Wouldn't mind a few more club banggers like HOY. About the lyrics, a bit more mature and personal. I love most of the
lyrics from OL. About the vocals, keep them coming!!! She sounds really really good in the newly leaked songs, especially the ad-libs and all are getting so
much better!!!

What are you talking about fannn? I mean, Get Right, DIW, HIDDI were all singles released to bring back her dance roots and they didn't do anything on the
charts. I think Jen needs to go a different direction with her music and I think this might be it. It won't be the same as when she was constantly number
one but I don't think she'll be there again. I think she'll have major hits here and there but consistent top billboard hits are really hard for
anyone.
And again here we go with blaming Marc. It's not his fault for whatever happened to Jen's music career. Poor single choices, lousy promo (by Sony or Jen), and a changing musical climate is what I think put a dent in her music career. I think more people respect the fact that she tries to improve on her vocals compared to artists like Janet, Madonna, Britney, Ciara, etc. |
