News conference set on Marc Anthony's ties to Miami DolphinsBy BARRY JACKSONbjackson@MiamiHerald.comAward-winning singer/songwriter Marc Anthony's involvement with the Miami Dolphins will be announced in a news conference Tuesday in New York. Anthony is expected to become a small minority owner in the team, barring a last-minute change of heart, and would join Gloria and Emilio Estefan as minority partners. Anthony's involvement with the Dolphins also will include a marketing element. Anthony is expected to perform at the Oct. 12 Jets-Dolphins Monday night football game at Land Shark Stadium. That ESPN-televised game has been designated as the NFL's Hispanic Heritage Game this season, commemorating Hispanic Heritage Month. Dolphins owner Stephen Ross, Anthony, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and ESPN president George Bodenheimer will appear at Tuesday's news conference in Manhattan. Anthony, 40, and Ross are friends, and Anthony and four of his children toured Land Shark Stadium with Ross on Thursday, according to Blanca LaSalle, Anthony's publicist. A winner of four Grammy Awards (including three Latin Grammys), Anthony is married to actress Jennifer Lopez. Anthony's involvement with the Dolphins is the latest step in Ross' efforts to recruit a diverse group of celebrities for involvement with the franchise. |

http://www.nbcmiami.com/s...ht-Soon-Serve-Salsa.html Land Shark Might Soon Serve Salsa. - Not again. Seriously? :
It's obvious what's going on here with Stephen Ross and his Dolphins. "Dolphins No. 1" vs. "Fins" vs. "Dol-Phans 4 Life" controversy, and faced with deciding who plays what when, he's gone Solomon on the 305 and decided to solve the problem by forming his very own "We Are The World"-type supergroup to do it all, together. That's the only reasonable conclusion we can draw from the news that Ross isn'tcontent with
"Though nothing is definite," Barry Jackson reported, "Anthony is expected to forge a relationship
Yeesh. This againLook, Mr. Ross, we get it. Teams aren't like dogs, they don't look like their owners -- so it's okay by us in principle if a warbling 75-pound pelvis with pipes buys in for mutual publicity After all, this is America. But you're making it reeeeeal hard for Miami fans to survive amongst our pigskin brethren in the sports bars and fantasy leagues. After all, our stadium just got renamed for the pińa colada of beers, our running back is demanding to be called "Errick" while passing out rubdowns, and our pants are teal. Yeesh. Within weeks, J.Lo could be a bad day away from owning a piece of Miami's beloved football franchise (er, again, [b]for those of you who just flashed back to the memorable sportswear the actress formerly known as Jennifer Lopez rocked in "OUT OF SIGHT" ).

********* Translation, Online : " MARC ANTHONY, LUIS FONSI STEAL THE SHOW " 17 July 2009, Friday PRIMERA HORA / Combined Services The Puerto Rican boxing champion ,Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez ,won a Youth Award. That was just one of the great and pleasant surprises given that this award-performed last night at the BankUnited Center at the University of Miami-nominated for Puerto Ricans, as in the categories related to music, singer Luis Fonsi won a total of 10 trophies, which set a record for this event. Meanwhile, Wisin & Yandel him were presented with two awards before the cameras, and Marc Anthony was exalted for his career. The artistic interpreter of "Ahora Quien?" dedicated this tribute to his children: Arianna, Ryan, Christian, Max and Emme. (someone omitted "Alex" ). As for the prize Juanma López, the boxer won in the category New Promise, which gives a prominent Hispanic athletes with less than four years of professional experience. (Juanma) Lopez, who dedicated the award to Puerto Rico and his family, won three of the Mexican soccer athletes, namely Carlos Vela Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez and Omar Arellano. And singing ... Without a doubt, the best moment of the evening was the interpretation of the song "Recuerdame" ("Remember Me" ) by Marc Anthony and Natalia Jimenez of La Quinta Estación. The offer drew musical sound with the addition of Paulina Rubio, who successfully performed their new cause and effect. While Luis Fonsi took fire and rain to the stage to sing It's raining inside. The act did reguetón presence with Alexis and Fido and success Eyes do not see. Tito "El Bambino" was highly praised by love. Ricardo Arjona shone with a medley of ballads. Cristian Castro, meanwhile, sounded quite Desafinado The culprit in question is me. The parade As for the parade by the blue carpet, there was everything for everyone's tastes, and even for those who had none.. Marc Anthony was robbed of some of the attention, besides this being the first occasion in which he participated at an awards event and .came alone. And that is because Jennifer Lopez is in New York filming what will be her next movie. "She's watching the ceremony from there, with the babies," he said when asked about his better-half. The artist of Puerto Rican descent wore black trousers and jacket with thin clear lines. The arrival of Luis Fonsi was felt with the screams of fans bet on both sides of the carpet. The singer opted for a black trousers and a shirt with long sleeves in a clear tone. Miguelito, one of the first to arrive at the ceremony, parade with a dark jacket, while his blinblín. Archangel was another move by the Puerto Ricans in the carpet. Olga Tañon arrived at the last minute before the start of the award, accompanied by her husband, Billy Denizard and small son, Indiana. For this appearance, the "Woman of Fire" selected few Mahone (surely his closet, as front) and a long-sleeved shirt, adorned with stones. What heat! The intense heat was felt Miami, so many chose, obviously, put the dress shorter than found. This was the case of Paulina Rubio, who chose a color magenta, whose skirt was a tie. The same happened with the actress Kate del Castillo. Her dress, with white and black, was described as "fun." Is it a compliment? Natalia Jimenez, the Fifth Season, and Fanny Lu were the few who chose to go black. Natalia with a Prada design and Fanny with an Eli Saab. Melissa Marty Nuestra Belleza Latina 2008, he managed to interview some of the guests. The Puerto Rican model wore a short blue ceñidísimo the body, while it marked some areas are limited. What they never understood was his Mexican accent. Kanye García, Chenoa, Anahí (RBD ex) and Da'Zoo, among others, attended the blue carpet.
