^ This is what I was saying. I dont like the idea but I feel it seems possible.

I don't undertand why they would suddenly drop the G.hits element. If they wanted to do a new album they could have just released a quick G.Hits last xmas with barely any promo. If she does a new studio album by the time she would get round to doing a G.Hits it would be too big.

It would seem to capture the best of both worlds - The old fans would buy it for the new album (cd 2) and the people who arn't that interested in her music career but like her old stuff would buy the album for the old hits. (cd 1) I imagine it would be a way of getting the highest possible sales of her music. It would be cheaper for the label than promoting 2 seperate albums. Its more likely to be a hit so the PR efffect would be better.

Like I said I dont like the idea but I would be confident in saying the album would be No1 if it was a G.Hits+New Album.

MJ did and HIStory was one of his biggest selling albums and sold alot!

^ no I dont think they should charge double maybe just $13 for a basic, then say $17 for the extended version. really the old songs havent cost them anything, so they wouldnt loose out. How it could look:-
