The 4th single from ''On The 6''. It was released on March 17, 2000. The song, she said, is a fond look back at her days in the Bronx, just
after high school. "You don't have a care in the world; it's sunny outside, you find a $20 bill on the floor, the train is on time, you're
going out with your friends, you've been looking forward to it all week, you get out of work early, that outfit you wanted was on sale--all that
stuff."
"I wrote that song because I was feeling depressed at one point when I was making the album. I was regretting how crazy this life is, how unstable. Then one day I woke up and I go, 'What the hell are you talking about? This is what you always wanted; you get to do what you want, you're the luckiest girl in the world." (Source)
The track was one she worked on with former boyfriend, Sean "Diddy" Combs. Jennifer said, "As we worked together, he said, 'I heard you're about to make an album. I have a song I think is going to be perfect for you, but let me know what kind of music.' The process went on, then we bang into each other at the Grammys, and he said, 'We have this record for you.' Then my executive producer Corey [Rooney] got in touch with him, and that's when we started working together on that, and he gave me the set-it-off track, which is 'Feeling So Good.'" (Source)
The song was later remixed by Diddy and featured on Jennifer's remix album J to the L-O: The Remixes.

In 2001, remixer Hex Hector won a Grammy Award for "Remixer of the Year, Non-Classical" for his remix. Hector said, "It's funny how life always comes full circle. In the very early Nineties at China Club, I met a friendly, young, energetic girl. We became club friends, eventually exchanging numbers. This girl would always want me to put her and her sister on the guest list, [and] I always did. That girl turned out to be Jennifer Lopez. Now, ten years later, I wind up getting a Grammy for a song I remixed for her, and appeared with her as her DJ on Saturday Night Live. I appreciate the fact that she never forgot about me after all those years." (Source)
