just wondering... what is this about...? i have never heard of this... is it worth to buy?? there a r 16 episodes...

i never saw this one, but i know its pretty good
16 episodes means its both series, cuz the 1st serie was: Second Chances the 2nd one: Hotel Malibu and both with 8 episodes each! i tried to buy it from italy, this one and Lost In The Wild, but i cant, i donno y

Yeah, that was a TV show Jen starred in. I've only seen clips, but it should be interesting.
I saw Lost In The Wild before it was renamed, lol. It's a D movie, but cool because Jen's in it.

the 1st series: Second Chances then she became so popular that they did like a spin-off of the series called: Hotel Malibu, and she s again the principal character

I've got 2 DVDs of " Second Chance " [ Episodes 1 to 7 ] and Jenn strarred in all episodes ( well I'm not sure ! )
Infos : * Tv/serie from 1993 * There are 10 episodes then the serie ended (but people say there are 16 but 6 next episodes are from Hotel Malibu )* It's a drama * Jenn's charactere is Melinda Lopez * She acted it again next year in Hotel Malibu * The serie is about the love live of 3 girls : Diana [Connie Selleca] , her sister Kate [Megan Follows] and her friend Melinda [Jennifer Lopez ]. Synopsis : On the surface, Santa Rita, California, is a lush, idyllic resort community. But underneath that superficial coat of beauty, there lurks a world of dark secrets and inner turmoils. Several of the town's inhabitants--including the widowed Diane (Connie Sellecca), her sister Kate (Megan Porter Follows), and Kate's best friend Melinda (Jennifer Lopez)--can't seem to find the right man. These struggles are at the core of the series SECOND CHANCES.Episode 1 to 6 : Well I've seen that serie last year so I don't remember everythings
I have to watch it again to tell you more things about it ... the 6 firsts episodes are about their lives ,i'm going to speak about our favorite character : Melinda Lopez of course ! 
Melinda is going to married Kevin but Kevin's family doesn't like Melinda cause she is a Mexican girl and Melinda's family doesn't like Kevin because he is a American boy ( or English , I forget ) !!! But they decided to get married as well. At the wedding , Melinda find a picture with her boyfriend who is with an other girl ... So they broken up and they don't married. At a moment , we discove that he didn't mislead his girlfriend , it was a trap ... But at this moment , Melinda is in love with an other boy , a childhood's friend , I think. This one is the " good man " because he is Mexican. Kevin falls in love with Kate , Melinda's best friend. Well that's about all I remember. Episode 7 : ( Thanks Jennifer_Is_My_Life for these synopsis ! ) Melinda finds out the truth about Kevin and they're going to marryl ike they wanted to do it in the first time, but again for the altar they decide they don't want to,because Kevin is actually in love with Kate and Melinda with the Mexican boy. Episode 8 : Melinda has trouble with money. Melinda gets an assistant manager, she was promised to get that job ! Melinda don't think it's fair. When Melinda has no money anymore to pay her college, she decides to enter a beauty pageant... her father don't want her to. But when she is 15 minutes to late to enter her father thinks that's bullshit and he helps her to enter the pageant. the assistant enters too! Episode 9 : Melinda winning the Beauty Pageant. Episode 10 : Episode 10 it's a complete different story ! There are other people in the serie! Only Melinda and her father aren't gone. Melinda finds a new job in Hotel Malibu. well that's it !

I vaguely remember that show. I do remember another TV show she did called "South Central". She was the cashier in the grocery store. She played a
very sassy character. lol She was not known at all then. Because of her performance in that show she got the role on "Second Chances"....I just never
really watched it.

I have all the whole serie.
Thers 16 episode. Is ok i kinda liked it. Its not bad but its not great but Jen is in ther so not matter what is good with me maybe ya will like it more i guess it putty good. |

Yeah I have the entire box set too. She is in every episode. Its a definite must have for a true Jlo fan, even if the show is dry. But will love seeing her in
it, cus its back in the days before she was big, so that makes it kinda rare, u know.
