I think Simon Fields is Jen's business partner/manager/partner-in-crime. She likely has an A&R rep from Epic that she regularly works with on her music
career, and then Simon oversees everything with her.

Basically, this guy is a novelist and they are making a movie out of his book, called "The Sun Over Breda". They're looking at Jen, Salma, and Eva, but Jen's pregnancy will likely get in the way.

synopsis this sound interesting. From Publishers Weekly A former war correspondent, Spanish novelist Pérez-Reverte continues his internationally acclaimed Captain Alatriste series with a third translated volume (following Purity of Blood), every bit as terse and engaging as previous books. Diego Alatriste, a 17th-century mercenary and wily veteran of campaigns from Italy to Flanders, is part of the army of Spanish King Philip IV-a defender of the Catholic faith-that's trying to suppress the Calvinist heretics of the Low Countries. Narrated is retrospect by Íñigo Balboa, who at the time of the action was Alatriste's 14-year-old page, this installment focuses on the Spaniards' siege of the fortified rebel city of Breda. As the stalemate drags on, the battle becomes less "a matter of military interest to Spain but, rather, one of reputation." Its power and influence in decline, Spain's lingering hopes to avoid another embarrassing setback in Flanders rest with stoic warriors like Alatriste. The action is fast, furious, and sanguinary, and Pérez-Reverte grimly recreates the universal madness and desperation of combat. He also captures the tedium and misery that is the common soldier's everyday fate and the zealotry with which Christians-Catholic and Protestant alike-once massacred each other. Factually sound and vividly imagined, this latest incarnation of Captain Alatriste will cheer old fans and win new ones. (Apr.) Copyright © Reed Business Information, a division of Reed Elsevier Inc. Vandross' estate to be auctioned off by Vicki Hyman, Star-Ledger Star Monday November 26, 2007, 12:44 PM It's no secret that Luther Vandross was a man of robust appetites, but a look at the contents of his estate, which are being auctioned off next week in Morris Plains, reveals just how robust. Vandross, who died in 2005, had acquired dozens of place settings, silverware, serving pieces, wine goblets and champagne flutes by top-notch makers like Tiffany, Lalique, Limoges, and Baccarat. He had a particularly weakness for Art Deco decorative objects, Gianni Versace coats (most in sizes 52 to 56), and crystal geodes. The sale, which will be held Dec. 5 and 6 by auctioneers Dawson & Nye, also includes his gold and platinum records, books, artwork, rugs, LPs, furniture and jewelry. Also for sale: A framed weight loss chart with the handwritten note at the bottom, "312 - 193 1/2, 6 months -- Don't forget what you went through," valued at $400 to $600; a Versace iridescent pink leather top coat ($1,000 to $2,000); a pair of black beaded Sean John jeans, given to Vandross by Sean Combs for singing "A House is Not a Home" to Jennifer Lopez in a private performance ($600 to $800); a man's white gold and 4.9-carat diamond ring ($20,000 to $25,000); and a "Get-A-Way" massage chair, worn, ($100 to $200). There will be a preview Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., Monday from noon to 8 p.m., and Tuesday from noon to 4 p.m. The auction both days starts at 10 a.m., with a preview starting at 8 a.m. The auction house is located at 128 American Road. Jenla88,
Hi, do you have a Link to this? I'm thinking of sending in a comment. Thnx Ben Affleck has moved on from his much-derided career-stalling relationship with Jennifer Lopez to marry a woman who seems her polar opposite in many ways. Jennifer Garner is relatively free from pretension and seems genuinely kind, (< edit. wow, God writes editorials!) if a little ditsy at times. (We can't always be signing her praises.) (< edit. - what about ~ 99% of the time? lol ) Guess I'm in the minority here. Reading this over, I saw glaring examples of a publicist's work: to elevate someone's stature by portraying Jennifer Lopez as a caricature. I couldn't type much tonight and I've been guilty of ranting sometimes anyway, lol. But, with just a handful of comments, the highlighted phrases can pretty much speak for themselves. In my opinion, unless Jen is viewed as a human being without negative exaggerations, the unearthing of bennifer is strictly self-serving. Deb > aka: self-appointed chair of the national committee not to observe bennifer (*rolls eyes*.)

^ I remember reading somewhere that Affleck & Garner share the Same Publicist, which may explain why the shenanigans and observances of
bennifer continue... nearly four years later.
