Her singing was an area I used to wish she would work on. Back in '04: she threw a surprise birthday party for Marc, including a band - but made excuses why she couldn't go on stage and sing to him. Marc ended up singing @ his own party. Reportedly he was alright about it, but Jen's excuse ("no back-up singers") was pretty revealing.
I was always impressed how Marc, a gifted singer, has believed in Jen from the start. He wrote "You Sang to Me" for her years ago. He took her under his wing during the production of CAUM, encouraged her, and gave her his best work. I've long hoped she'd spend time learning more about singing and get comfortable with it.. Now it looks like "Brave", her touring with Marc, and her excellent Spanish album are helping restore credibility to her as a singer, and to her career. That's major stuff.
