What a cool video, and very interesting.. Jen generated a frenzy, but her driven pace couldn't be sustained indefinitely. Too much gets sacrificed: people, relationships, creativity, health. A burn-out/ break-down was inevitable. Looking back, I think that's when I started to notice a downturn in the quality of her decision-making. For a few years there, she was trying much too fast to settle her personal relationship needs: so she could jump back onto the showbiz fast-track asap. She reminded me, then, of an sharp and intensely ambitious, rapidly rising corp. executive who has a very unbalanced life, and doesn't have time to notice! As an entertainer in the late 90's and early 2000s, Jen wasn't chronologically that young. Everyone needs to slow down a bit and re-evaluate, at least by the time you're entering your thirties.

In the few instances that Jen responds to media queries about advising the current flock of rehab cuties, she keeps her comments empathetic and humble. And brief.

The one area that disappointed me, is this video, was the absence of the "No Me Ames" song and video. Not even a mention, although it created such excitement in the Latin market (and even state-side) and contributed to the further success of ON THE 6. Marc Anthony gave so much of himself to the production of NMA (song and video) for Jennifer's first album. And didn't the music press sense anything going on between Jen and Marc? The NYC columnists in 1998 and 1999 sure did.
