also a lot of the un-cooperativeness regarding Tom in Germany is very much linked to the topic of the movie.
"Valkyrie" based on actual events, a plot to assassinate Hitler is unfurled during the height of WWII. ^ The German government or Germany itself is not really warm to the whole Nazi Germany story being re-hashed. They don't want even more movies depicting Germany in a bad way. To an extent I can see their point. ...on a separate note they do not like the Church of Scientology or the idea of off-shoot groups that could be conisdered 'radical'. It was after all the rise of a separate radical group and ultimately fascism that brought about discontent in Germany and as we know WWII. This dislike to some extent isn't wholly irrational. I do believe though that in this case Scientology isn't a threat. |

my mexican friend told me that males in Mexico can do whatever they want, beat their wives and the police wont do nuthing about it. I find it so sad how they
allow such a thing, but in the USA if a man beats a woman your going to jail for sure
