I thought BIOGRAPHY was better than most. Straight-up, it noted the public's image of 'J.Lo' involved in impulsive, brief infatuations. To their credit, Bio didn't leave out David Cruz, her pre-Hollywood boyfriend of ten years. But I wish they had lingered longer there, to drive home how her hectic showbiz life and her separation from homebase, affected her needs for family, communication and support. I was surprised (disappointed) they didn't include how Selena's murder influenced Jen's decision to marry quickly after the movie wrapped.

Career-wise, this show illustrated more specific examples of Jen's insights and achievement as an actress, and the positive impression she made early on in her career. And how did they manage to do all that in one hour (compared to two hours of THS?): They disregarded most gossip and speculation: impressive I think! The ending is positive and upbeat about a successful future and about Jen & Marc's happiness together. Though it can't cite many examples of peak sales, Jen is acknowledged for returning to high-quality work and re-building tangible bonds with her culture and community. Btw, Perez Hilton (?) is among those offering comments, including some about her match with Marc.

I still think the best one is the original Biography of her and then the E! True Hollywood Story. (Brave72470)

I don't remember ever seeing an earlier Biography; wonder if it was ever available from the channel (A+E?) way back when.

This Biography program only had an hour and managed to include more about Jen as a person, beginning her career, and about her solid bond w/ Marc. The THS got double the time but, imo, seemed more intent on punishing her because she backed out of her "E! in-depth interview" (an oxymoron = a complete invasion of privacy, w/ amnesia concerning the fortune they already made using her).
