Wow! I'm so excited!! 2 movies, a GH, new songs... I thought she would take some time off, til Emme and Max were a bit more grown.
I would like something HUGE and then a Oscar *-* This is an independent movie, right? So it's gonna be like EC? |

^ it depends i guess, Yari prod distribut their own movies so they don't have to look for a distributor, and for the numbers of theater yeah i think it
will be on limited release but it's a rom-com so it will probably be shown in more theater than EC And i think it will most likely go to the international.
Indedependant movies are released outside the US sometimes even before the US.

LOTS of people still think Monster In Law was Jens last movie,because its the last one with worldwide release.. |

Cmon Jen switch it up, kick some ass, play a hooker, sell some drugs, become a transexual model with HIV, give them something new and big. |

hopefully this turns out in a decent romantic comedy
sounds lik mim part 2, not really feelin that I agree with RuRu, I want her to go deep. play an interesting unexpected character. she proved several times she can act and I want her to show it! she cant really show off her acting skills in romantic comedies imo |

I think sometimes she wants to do fun stuff, too. Her last couple of roles were dark and gritty, so this is something a little light-hearted. I haven't
read LAOIP, but it seems like that'll be a bit of a tough role, so I don't blame her for wanting to do something fun.
Oh, I also think she dropped Bridge & Tunnel. Edit: If you look here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0946441/ you'll see he did Street Kings which was just released. The Accidental Husband is gonna be released this summer. The Illusionist did well here. Those three were wide releases as were a number of his other movies. So I guess it just depends on what happens.

hmm i dont see it becomin MIM2! cuz in MIM she was a goodygoody hardworker! but here she is a CON or sth? lol
i think the plot is intresting and it doesnt seem comic at all. does it? or maybe i dont get the comic vibe from it

What I think matters as me and heather have said before is the execution of the project.
Whilst the Governess doesn't sound like the absolute best synopsis for a movie, with a good production company behind it and a good cast it can do well. Bordertown sounded great on paper but the final product didn't work quite as well (not through any fault of Jen's good acting) The only thing that bothers me about rom/coms is there is little/no chance of critical success or noms. I don't think it sounds like MIM part 2 it reminds me of more of an unlikely romantic comedy style movie if you get what I mean. MIM was a cinderella story. Jen has done the whole unlikely rom comedy thing twice before: Out of Sight - heist/crime movie intertwined with rom com. G***i - weird/crime combined with rom com. I just hope that in the execution of this movie it doesn't turn out like G***i. An unlikely romantic comedy that isn't plausible/doesn't work. |

btw what happend to "tik tak" and "Austin powers4" ?I think people need to get over 'Tick Tock'. It's not going to happen, at least not with Jen attached. Not anymore, I think.
