-- I don't know - No winners list yet . + so far, i haven't seen any Backstage photos either ... Sure, it's likely that Eduardo Verasategul (?) won - - But he also could have been a presenter in that pic shown. If it's a "winning" photo, then the Honor's for the acting Group.. So Where's the rest of the Cast? Q : When does the Voting end? (EC's % is inching down little by little). Assuming it has meaning. 
If they're trying to keep some of the Wins quiet, it's not very realistic, esp. for a month, lol. jmho. |

^ ^ Thanks 4 the heads-up.. Searched several "complete" winners lists, But not a word is mentioned about the category : "Outstanding Performance of a Lead Latino / Latina Cast in a Motion Picture", nor any other of the nominees (including "Bella").

I think Jen and Marc didnt show up couse they knew they didnt win awardI doubt that was the case. The whole awards show was not manged very well from the beginning. They kept changing dates the categories weren't really complete. There was no real voting link to online voting. Come on Eva! lol |

I read a dutch article about the Alma Awards today, and they say that Ugly Betty is the big winner of the awards, but the article says nothing about El
Cantante or Jennifer/Marc. And further they say there are winners like Shakira, Linda Ronstadt en Charlie Sheen.
And that Eva Longoria changed her outfit 10 times during the show haha

Outstanding Performance of a Lead Latino / Latina Cast in a Motion Picture: Nominees: Bella El Cantante Illegal Tender Love in the Time of Cholera Tortilla Heaven HI - This turned up - on an Italian edition of Yahoo --- Read their Caption below; it describes a photo of the same actor from "Bella", another film competing 4 the same ALMA Award as "El Cantante". Last night, WireImage showed a similar pic of the same guy, but no winner was identified. Also a little curious, jmo, that he seems to be the only actor there to accept the award on behalf of the cast. The caption says: [b] Eduardo Verastegui, a cast member in the film "Bella", poses backstage with the award for: Outstanding Performance by a Lead Latino /-a Cast in a Motion Picture, at the 2008 ALMA Awards, etc. LINK: CORRECTED: "Winner" ALMAs? http://it.movies.yahoo.co...agine/18082008021724.html P.S - sorry about all the variations in letter size (unintentional).

Taped Escandalo Monday, + almost forgot to watch until tonight. Anti-climactic by now, lol: just confirming Bella was the winner over EC, but they didn't play games around it.
