Thanks Deb.
She's ahead of Nicole who I would have though to be
much higher on the list.

You're welcome; glad you liked it . .This is a special issue from
Forbes : "Entertainment All-Stars". I spotted it this past week-end, while grocery shopping. Their explanations of how the figures are calculated
are very good. I'm very pleased that Jen is hanging in there. The numbers are relevent. Forbes also understands that a film which "opens wide" ( = / >
1,000 theaters ) has a real advantage over films with a "limited opening", such as "El Cantante" and other indie films.

it say that it's based on the last 3 widely released movies (at least 1000 th) so it's EC, MIL and SWD ? the last two and particularly SWD did really
well worldwide, i don't remmeber how much she got for SWD?

^ EC got only around 542 seats. AUL was 888 seats.
Her last three wide movies 1000+ are:- Jersey Girl Shall We Dance Monster in Law http://boxofficemojo.com/people/chart/?view=Actor&id=jenniferlopez.htm *Its funny because I never class JG as Jen's movie but I guess it is! |

^ the article say that they didn't count the movies were actor had a small/supporting role so i guess the other movie is Gigli.

^ I thought her role in JG is big enough to be counted. I thought they mean cameo's or like five minutes.
They included julia Roberts for Ocean's films which was really only supporting. Im pretty sure in Oceans 12 she is literally on screen for all of five minutes. |

she was in Jersey girl less than 15 mins, and they explained why they counted their Ocean's apparence. so not sure if JG or Gigli was included.

also it's intersting what they says about Cameron Diaz that if she's cast a studio can get a big director and good supporting cast because her movies
don't do that well, she never had a big flop but her last 5/6 movies did ok, i wonder if it's by reputation, because she's know for being nice and
fun and the public love her too.

Perception is what matters. People like her and the media seems to write positive things about her. I don't really hear much about her, but yeah, the
public really likes her, as a person.

nmou81 wrote: ^ I didn't think about those comments as being particularly personal to Cameron I thought they where just basically explainng how any big star once they are attatched to a project can attract director / cast etc, but I suppose you can read it the way you and Heather did.
I think whilst the public generally like her she isn't really a crtic's favourite and like you said her last movies have been so-so. |

Thanks for the stats! I didn't guess anybody's place on the list- thought some would be higher and others lower. I.e., how is Will Smith only # 21! His
movies are always blockbusters.
